Based on a comparison of 11 banks in Poland in 3Q2017, PKO BP had the most branches, followed by Pekao and Alior Bank.
PKO BP operated a network of 1,208 branches at the end of 3Q2017. That's compared to 1,233 branches some 10 years ago.
When compared to bank's main peers, Pekao operated a network of 917 branches in 3Q2017, Alior Bank had 914 branches and Santander Bank Polska had a network of 752 branches in 3Q2017.
Polish banks operated a network of 1,966 branches in 3Q2017. Total of 41,749 people worked for the banks in 3Q2017.
