Based on a comparison of 11 banks in Poland in 1Q2016, PKO BP had the most branches, followed by Pekao and Alior Bank.
PKO BP operated a network of 1,275 branches at the end of 1Q2016. That's compared to 1,249 branches some 10 years ago.
When compared to bank's main peers, Pekao operated a network of 959 branches in 1Q2016, Alior Bank had 831 branches and Santander Bank Polska had a network of 812 branches in 1Q2016.
Polish banks operated a network of 2,198 branches in 1Q2016. Total of 41,316 people worked for the banks in 1Q2016.
