Eurobank Poland's net interest margin amounted to 4.81% in 2017, down from 4.92% when compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 5.40% in 2014 and an all time low of 4.81% in 2017. The average margin in the last five years amounted to 4.99%.
Average asset yield was 6.30% in 2017, down from 6.48% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 1.67% in 2017, down from 1.75%.
Comparing Eurobank Poland with its closest peers, Alior Bank operated in 2017 with a net interest margin of 4.37% Bank Pocztowy reached 3.79% and Getin Holding some 3.55%.
The average net interest margin reached 1.71% in the Polish banking sector in 2017 while interest spread amounted to 3.31%.
