Average cost reached PHP 67,494 per month per month per employee, 0.648% less than a year ago. This figure was PHP 55,822 per month some 10 years ago.
Comparing Bank of the Philippine Islands with its closest peers, Landbank had 8,599 employees with average cost of PHP 134,252 per month per person, Philippine National Bank operated with 8,266 people (and PHP 94,566 per month per employee) and PBCOM had 1,074 employees in 2018 with cost PHP 1,074 per month per head.
