Based on a comparison of 13 banks in Philippines in 2018, Banco de Oro generated the largest fee income, followed by Metrobank and Bank of the Philippine Islands.
Banco de Oro reported total fee income of PHP 28,678 mil, up 7.32% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s fee income reached an all time high of PHP 28,678 mil in 2018 and an all time low of PHP 105 mil in 1997.
Comparing Banco de Oro with its closest peers, Metrobank generated total fee income of PHP 13,985 mil, Bank of the Philippine Islands operated with PHP 8,224 mil fee income and RCBC produced total fees worth PHP 3,601 mil.
