CIB Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 24.1%, up from 21.8% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 24.1% in 2017 and an all time low of 9.20% in 2008.
Comparing CIB Bank with its closest peers, UniCredit Bank Hungary ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 23.7%, Raiffeisen Bank Hungary with 22.8% and FHB Bank some 20.1% at the end of 2017.
The average capital adequacy reached 18.1% in the Hungarian banking sector in 2017.
