UniCredit Bank Hungary's capital adequacy ratio reached 22.0%, up from 18.2% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 22.0% in 2016 and an all time low of 9.70% in 2006.
Comparing UniCredit Bank Hungary with its closest peers, CIB Bank ended the year 2016 with a capital adequacy ratio at 21.8%, Erste Bank Hungary with 21.6% and FHB Bank some 20.1% at the end of 2016.
The average capital adequacy reached 17.7% in the Hungarian banking sector in 2016.
