Hypotecni Banka's cost to income ratio reached 20.3% in 4Q2016, up from 17.4% when compared to the previous quarter and up from 18.3% when compared to the same period of last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 77.0% in 4Q2002 and an all time low of -93.3% in 4Q2000.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 4Q2016, up from 0.370% a year earlier.
When compared to the nearest peers, Raiffeisen Stavebni Sporitelna operated in 4Q2016 with a cost to income ratio of 33.1%, Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny reached 36.3% and Komercni Banka some 44.9%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 45.2% in the Czech banking sector in 4Q2016.
