Hypotecni Banka's cost to income ratio reached 18.1% in 2Q2016, down from 28.7% when compared to the previous quarter and up from 17.7% when compared to the same period of last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 77.0% in 4Q2002 and an all time low of -93.3% in 4Q2000.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2Q2016, down from 0.390% a year earlier.
When compared to the nearest peers, Max banka operated in 2Q2016 with a cost to income ratio of 18.5%, Modra Pyramida Stavebni Sporitelna reached 32.5% and PPF Banka some 32.8%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 29.5% in the Czech banking sector in 2Q2016.
