Hypotecni Banka's cost to income ratio reached 25.8% in 2018, down from 22.1% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 102% in 1998 and an all time low of 15.8% in 2012.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2018, down from 0.356% a year earlier.
Comparing Hypotecni Banka with its closest peers, PPF Banka operated in 2018 with a cost to income ratio of 26.2%, Fio banka reached 31.8% and Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny some 34.9%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 44.6% in the Czech banking sector in 2018.
