PPF Banka's cost to income ratio reached 25.4% in 1Q2017, down from 48.8% when compared to the previous quarter and down from 47.4% when compared to the same period of last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 65.5% in 3Q2015 and an all time low of 18.1% in 2Q2009.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 1Q2017, down from 1.06% a year earlier.
When compared to the nearest peers, Hypotecni Banka operated in 1Q2017 with a cost to income ratio of 27.9%, Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny reached 30.0% and Modra Pyramida Stavebni Sporitelna some 41.6%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 43.7% in the Czech banking sector in 1Q2017.
