J&T Banka employed 454 persons in 2016, down 34.1% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 689 persons in 2015 and an all time low of 95.0 in 2004.
Average cost reached CZK 173,642 per month per employee, 65.6% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 59,521 per month some 10 years ago.
Staff accounted for 42.4% of total operating expenditures in 2016.
Comparing J&T Banka with its closest peers, PPF Banka had 210 employees with average cost of CZK 140,079 per month per person, Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny operated with 175 people (and CZK 100,476 per month per employee) and Trinity Bank had 104 employees in 2016 with cost of CZK 96,787 per month per head.
The average staff cost per employee reached CZK 71,803 per month in the Czech banking sector in 2016.
