What Banks in Czechia Had the Most Employees in 2018?

Based on a comparison of 26 banks in Czechia in 2018, Ceska Sporitelna had the most employees, followed by CSOB and Komercni Banka.

Ceska Sporitelna employed 10,115 persons in 2018, down 1.30% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 14,131 persons in 2000 and an all time low of 10,115 in 2018.

Average cost reached CZK 78,703 per month per month per employee, 4.93% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 60,554 per month some 10 years ago.

Comparing Ceska Sporitelna with its closest peers, CSOB had 8,623 employees with average cost of CZK 84,164 per month per person, Komercni Banka operated with 8,454 people (and CZK 77,153 per month per employee) and UniCredit Bank Czecho-Slovakia had 3,251 employees in 2018 with cost CZK 3,251 per month per head.

Czech banking sector employed 41,864 people in 2018. The average staff cost per employee reached CZK 81,148 per month.
