Based on a comparison of 25 banks in Czechia in 2016, Akcenta operated with the lowest loan to deposit ratio, followed by Fio banka and PPF Banka.
Akcenta's loan to deposit ratio reached 1.19% at the end of 2016, down from 1.62% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans to deposits hit an all time high of 1.93% in 2012 and an all time low of 0.581% in 2013.
Comparing Akcenta with its closest peers, Fio banka ended the year 2016 with loans to deposits at 17.7%, PPF Banka with 27.2% and Air Bank some 41.9% of loans to deposits at the end of 2016.
Overall, total loans of the Czech banking sector amounted to 78.3% of deposits at the end of 2016.
