When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2017, up from 1.98% a year earlier.
Comparing Zagrebacka Banka with its closest peers, Erste & Steiermarkische Bank operated in 2017 with a cost to income ratio of 49.0%, Privredna Banka Zagreb reached 49.8% and PBZ Stambena Stedionica some 53.6%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 46.8% in the Croatian banking sector in 2017.
