UniCredit Bulbank's customer deposits reached BGN 14,838 mil, up from BGN 13,296 mil, compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of BGN 14,838 mil in 2016 and an all time low of BGN 1,721 mil in 2000.
Comparing UniCredit Bulbank with its closest peers, DSK Bank's deposits amounted to BGN 9,725 mil at the end of 2016, First Investment Bank operated with BGN 7,912 mil of customer deposits and United Bulgarian Bank had clients' deposits of BGN 5,566 mil at the end of 2016.
Bulgarian banks had customer deposits of CZK 72.2 bil in 2016, up 8.04% when compared to the last year. As a result, the top ranked company - UniCredit Bulbank accounted for 20.5% of the sector’s deposits in 2016. The top 3 companies held a 45.0% share while the five largest firms some 60.3% in 2016.
