The average revenue in the last five years amounted to BGN 801 mil.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 4.29% of total assets in 2017, up from 4.21% a year earlier.
Comparing UniCredit Bulbank with its closest peers, DSK Bank generated total revenues of BGN 715 mil, or 5.78% of assets in 2017, First Investment Bank operated with BGN 407 mil total income, or 4.56% revenue margin and Eurobank Bulgaria produced total income worth BGN 371 mil, or 5.00% of assets.
Bulgarian banking sector generated total revenues of BGN 3,870 mil in 2017, down 4.62% when compared to the previous year. As a result, the top ranked company - UniCredit Bulbank accounted for 22.4% of the sector’s total income in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 51.4% share while the five largest firms some 70.0% in 2017.
