Comparing Erste Group Bank with its closest peers, Raiffeisen Bank Int. customer loans amounted to EUR 88,473 mil, Erste Bank Austria operated with EUR 74,137 mil loans and Bank Austria Group had a loan portfolio of EUR 60,032 mil.
Austrian banking sector provided total customer loans of CZK 435 bil in 2017, down 0% when compared to the last year. As a result, the top ranked company - Erste Group Bank accounted for 32.1% of the sector’s loans in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 69.5% share while the five largest firms some 92.7% in 2017.
