Comparing Erste Group Bank with its closest peers, Erste Bank Austria's deposits amounted to EUR 75,811 mil at the end of 2016, Raiffeisen Bank Int. operated with EUR 71,538 mil of customer deposits and Bank Austria Group had clients' deposits of EUR 56,239 mil at the end of 2016.
Austrian banks had customer deposits of CZK 395 bil in 2016, up 2.50% when compared to the last year. As a result, the top ranked company - Erste Group Bank accounted for 34.9% of the sector’s deposits in 2016. The top 3 companies held a 72.2% share while the five largest firms some 96.5% in 2016.
