The average revenue in the last five years amounted to EUR 7,517 mil.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 3.34% of total assets in 2017, up from 3.48% a year earlier.
Comparing Erste Group Bank with its closest peers, Raiffeisen Bank Int. generated total revenues of EUR 5,826 mil, or 4.31% of assets in 2017, Erste Bank Austria operated with EUR 3,255 mil total income, or 2.26% revenue margin and Bank Austria Group produced total income worth EUR 1,787 mil, or 1.75% of assets.
Austrian banking sector generated total revenues of EUR 19,521 mil in 2017, up 2.83% when compared to the previous year. As a result, the top ranked company - Erste Group Bank accounted for 37.8% of the sector’s total income in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 84.3% share while the five largest firms some 101% in 2017.
