Voestalpine has overcame the financial crisis relatively well. Sales have reached the pre-crisis level of EUR 11.5 bil already in 2012, up 35% from its low in 2009.
The Company reached its maximum value at the end of 2006, when its market capitalization exceeded USD 11 bil. At the end of 2012, the value was only half that amount at USD 5.4 bil
