Voestalpine has overcame the financial crisis relatively well. Sales have reached the pre-crisis level of EUR 11.5 bil already in 2012, up 35% from its low in 2009. Voestalpine's enterprise value has been trading at around 5.5x of the company's EBITDA in the last decade. At the end of 2012, the ratio dropped to 4.9x.
