UniCredit Slovakia's non-performing loans reached 11.4% of total loans at the end of 2012, up from 7.05% compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 11.4% in 2012 and an all time low of 2.67% in 2007.
Provision coverage amounted to 18.1% at the end of 2012, down from 33.6% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.488% of average loans in 2012. That's compared to 0.458% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
