Historically, tuberculosis case detection rate in Armenia reached an all time high of 100% in 1991 and an all time low of 28.0% in 1992. When compared to Armenia's main peers, tuberculosis case detection rate in Azerbaijan amounted to 62.0%, 64.0% in Georgia, 56.0% in Iran and 67.0% in Turkey in 2020.
Armenia has been ranked 141st within the group of 174 countries we follow in terms of tuberculosis case detection rate, 44 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
