Historically, total petroleum consumption in Vietnam reached an all time high of 471 '000 bpd in 2013 and an all time low of 24.0 '000 bpd in 1980. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, total petroleum consumption in Cambodia amounted to 39.0 '000 bpd, 12,376 '000 bpd in China, 3.50 '000 bpd in Laos and 1,252 '000 bpd in Thailand in 2015.
