Historically, total petroleum consumption in Armenia reached an all time high of 47.0 '000 bpd in 2008 and an all time low of 7.78 '000 bpd in 2014. When compared to Armenia's main peers, total petroleum consumption in Azerbaijan amounted to 101 '000 bpd, 23.0 '000 bpd in Georgia, 1,850 '000 bpd in Iran and 885 '000 bpd in Turkey in 2015.
