Electric vehicles rose 438% to 1.94% in Slovakia in 2020, according to ACEA (Electrically Chargeable Vehicle = Battery Electric Vehicles+Extended-Range Electric Vehicles+Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles+Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
Historically, Electric vehicles in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1.94% in 2020 and an all time low of 0.009% in 2013. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, Electric vehicles in Austria amounted to 9.50%, 2.58% in Czech Republic, 4.72% in Hungary and 1.89% in Poland in 2020.
Slovakia has been ranked 25th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of Electric vehicles, 25 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
