Electric vehicles rose 154% to 4.72% in Hungary in 2020, according to ACEA (Electrically Chargeable Vehicle = Battery Electric Vehicles+Extended-Range Electric Vehicles+Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles+Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
Historically, Electric vehicles in Hungary reached an all time high of 4.72% in 2020 and an all time low of 0.018% in 2013. When compared to Hungary's main peers, Electric vehicles in Austria amounted to 9.50%, 2.58% in Czech Republic, 1.89% in Poland and 1.94% in Slovakia in 2020.
Hungary has been ranked 17th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of Electric vehicles, 17 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
