Unmanufactured tobacco production rose 23.1% to 17,824 tonnes in Mexico in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Mexico reached an all time high of 93,941 tonnes in 1980 and an all time low of 6,983 tonnes in 2010.
Mexico has been ranked 33rd within the group of 116 countries we follow in terms of unmanufactured tobacco production, 14 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
