Unmanufactured tobacco production rose 0.379% to 2,530 tonnes in Ghana in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Ghana reached an all time high of 3,334 tonnes in 1974 and an all time low of 400 tonnes in 1977. When compared to Ghana's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Benin amounted to 3.15 tonnes, 7,915 tonnes in Ivory Coast and 1,948 tonnes in Togo in 2022.
