Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 8.61% to 2,843 tonnes in Venezuela in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Venezuela reached an all time high of 21,675 tonnes in 1979 and an all time low of 1,692 tonnes in 2016. When compared to Venezuela's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Brazil amounted to 744,161 tonnes, 4,017 tonnes in Colombia, 98.8 tonnes in Guyana and 195 tonnes in Trinidad and Tobago in 2021.
