Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 57.4% to 73.3 tonnes in Malaysia in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Malaysia reached an all time high of 14,239 tonnes in 1986 and an all time low of 73.3 tonnes in 2022.
Malaysia has been ranked 110th within the group of 115 countries we follow in terms of unmanufactured tobacco production, 33 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
