Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 39.0% to 3,925 tonnes in Chile in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Chile reached an all time high of 19,636 tonnes in 1993 and an all time low of 3,778 tonnes in 1973. When compared to Chile's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Argentina amounted to 102,071 tonnes, 1,203 tonnes in Bolivia, 7,459 tonnes in Paraguay and 3,315 tonnes in Uruguay in 2021.
