Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 30.2% to 3,895 tonnes in Uzbekistan in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 33,800 tonnes in 1998 and an all time low of 3,895 tonnes in 2021. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Kazakhstan amounted to 1,138 tonnes, 1,113 tonnes in Kyrgyzstan, 184 tonnes in Tajikistan and 3,280 tonnes in Turkmenistan in 2021.
