Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 18.5% to 172 tonnes in Malaysia in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Malaysia reached an all time high of 14,239 tonnes in 1986 and an all time low of 102 tonnes in 2019.
Malaysia has been ranked 108th within the group of 116 countries we follow in terms of unmanufactured tobacco production, 39 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
