Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 0.247% to 4,781 tonnes in Rwanda in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Rwanda reached an all time high of 5,405 tonnes in 2011 and an all time low of 680 tonnes in 1966. When compared to Rwanda's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in Burundi amounted to 1,307 tonnes, 61,636 tonnes in Tanzania, 32,965 tonnes in Uganda and 3,575 tonnes in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2022.
