Unmanufactured tobacco production fell 0.167% to 28,610 tonnes in South Korea in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in South Korea reached an all time high of 144,533 tonnes in 1977 and an all time low of 27,834 tonnes in 2015. When compared to South Korea's main peers, unmanufactured tobacco production in China amounted to 2,127,600 tonnes, 84,713 tonnes in Dem. People's Republic of Korea, 14,237 tonnes in Japan and 29,158 tonnes in Vietnam in 2021.
