Historically, time required to register property in Malaysia reached an all time high of 146 days in 2009 and an all time low of 11.5 days in 2018. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, time required to register property in Cambodia amounted to 55.0 days, 4.50 days in Singapore, 9.00 days in Thailand and 53.5 days in Vietnam in 2018.
