Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny's capital adequacy ratio reached 29.6% at the end of second quarter of 2024, down from 32.4% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 32.4% in 1Q2024 and an all time low of 11.2% in 3Q2014.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 29.4% at the end of second quarter of 2024, down from 31.1% compared to the same period of last year and up from 29.2% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 123% at the end of 2Q2024, up from 109% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 40.5%.
When compared to bank's main peers, CSOB Stavebni Sporitelna ended the second quarter of 2024 with a capital adequacy ratio at 28.1% and loans to deposits of 109%, Raiffeisen Stavebni Sporitelna with 24.4% and 118% respectively and Modra Pyramida Stavebni Sporitelna some 38.1% in terms of capital adequacy and 189% of loans to deposits at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
