Sberbank Slovakia's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.9% at the end of 2017, up from 17.7% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.9% in 2017 and an all time low of 13.5% in 2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.8% at the end of 2017, up from 17.7% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 85.4% at the end of 2017, up from 83.0% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Sberbank Slovakia with its closest peers, VUB Banka ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 18.2% and loans to deposits of 121%, Slovenska Sporitelna with 18.7% and 93.9% respectively and Tatra banka some 18.7% in terms of capital adequacy and 93.0% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.
