Sberbank Czech Republic's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.2% at the end of first quarter of 2022, down from 17.4% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.5% in 4Q2015 and an all time low of 11.4% in 3Q2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.1% at the end of first quarter of 2022, down from 17.2% compared to the same period of last year and down from 17.3% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 206% at the end of 1Q2022, up from 75.8% when compared to the same period of last year.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the first quarter of 2022 with a capital adequacy ratio at 21.2% and loans to deposits of 63.5%, CSOB with 21.7% and 61.6% respectively and Komercni Banka some 20.2% in terms of capital adequacy and 70.2% of loans to deposits at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
