Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 4.82% in 2003 and an all time low of 2.42% in 2012. The average margin in the last five years amounted to 2.75%.
Average asset yield was 4.02% in 2017, down from 4.20% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 1.02% in 2017, down from 1.53%.
