Sales of electric cars rose 688% to 1.69 thousand in Slovenia in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of electric cars in Slovenia reached an all time high of 1.69 thousand in 2020 and an all time low of 0 thousand in 2013. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, sales of electric cars in Austria amounted to 23.6 thousand, 0.676 thousand in Croatia, 6.04 thousand in Hungary and 59.9 thousand in Italy in 2020.
Slovenia has been ranked 23rd within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of sales of electric cars, 23 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
