Sales of electric cars rose 304% to 1.48 thousand in Slovakia in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of electric cars in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1.48 thousand in 2020 and an all time low of 0.006 thousand in 2013. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, sales of electric cars in Austria amounted to 23.6 thousand, 5.24 thousand in Czech Republic, 6.04 thousand in Hungary and 8.10 thousand in Poland in 2020.
Slovakia has been ranked 24th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of sales of electric cars, 24 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
