Sales of electric cars rose 246% to 32.5 thousand in Denmark in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of electric cars in Denmark reached an all time high of 32.5 thousand in 2020 and an all time low of 0.650 thousand in 2013. When compared to Denmark's main peers, sales of electric cars in Germany amounted to 395 thousand, 89.1 thousand in Netherlands, 106 thousand in Norway and 94.1 thousand in Sweden in 2020.
Denmark has been ranked 11th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of sales of electric cars, 11 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
