Sales of passenger cars rose 20.8% yoy to 905 thousand in the European Union in August 2023, according to ACEA. This is 11.5% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in the European Union reached an all time high of 1,937 thousand in March 2017 and an all time low of 292 thousand in April 2020.
