Sales of passenger cars fell 14.2% to 46.3 thousand in Slovenia in 2022, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of passenger cars in Slovenia reached an all time high of 81.9 thousand in 1999 and an all time low of 31.2 thousand in 1992. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 215 thousand, 42.9 thousand in Croatia, 112 thousand in Hungary and 1,317 thousand in Italy in 2022.
Slovenia has been ranked 22nd within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of sales of passenger cars, 40 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
