Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production rose 76.1% to 0.018% in Syria in 2019, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Syria reached an all time high of 0.140% in 2010 and an all time low of 0.006% in 2017. When compared to Syria's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Iraq amounted to 0.080%, 0.022% in Jordan, 0.035% in Lebanon and 0.608% in Turkey in 2019.

Syria has been ranked 87th within the group of 139 countries we follow in terms of sales of cars as a share of worldwide production, 25 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
