Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production rose 11.7% to 37.6% in China in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in China reached an all time high of 37.6% in 2020 and an all time low of 8.75% in 2005. When compared to China's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in India amounted to 4.54%, 7.11% in Japan, 2.68% in Russia and 6.35% in USA in 2020.
