Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production rose 104% to 0.009% in Azerbaijan in 2019, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Azerbaijan reached an all time high of 0.035% in 2014 and an all time low of 0.002% in 2017. When compared to Azerbaijan's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Azerbaijan amounted to 0.009%, 0.004% in Georgia, 0.971% in Iran and 2.46% in Russia in 2019.

Azerbaijan has been ranked 100th within the group of 139 countries we follow in terms of sales of cars as a share of worldwide production, 12 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
